Abstract

PURPOSE: A TPMS sensor module is provided to secure frequency range and reduce power consumption through changing the RF(Radio Frequency) transmission mode transmitting the information of a tire. CONSTITUTION: A TPMS sensor module comprises a sensor unit, a control unit, and a RF transmitting unit. The sensor unit comprises a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor for a tire. The control unit conducts the overall control of the TPMS sensor module. The RF transmitting unit transmits the sensor information concerned with the sensed temperature and pressure of a tire by RF transmission according to the control unit. The RF transmitting unit is applied SSB-ASK transmission mode instead of DSB-ASK transmission mode or FSK transmission mode.
