Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rear seat airbag device, and more particularly, to a rear seat airbag device installed on the front seat to protect a passenger sitting on the rear seat.
In general, a vehicle is provided with an airbag device that is a safety device to protect the occupant by inflating the airbag cushion by receiving gas from the inflator in the event of a vehicle accident.
Such an airbag device is installed in each part of the vehicle as necessary, and the driver's seat airbag device mounted on the steering wheel to protect the driver sitting in the driver's seat and the glove box is mounted on the upper side of the glove box to protect the passenger sitting in the passenger's seat. A passenger airbag device and a curtain airbag device mounted along the roof rail to protect the side of the occupant have been proposed.
In the airbag apparatus, the gas generated due to the explosion of the gas generating medium included in the inflator is introduced into the airbag cushion during vehicle collision, thereby expanding and deploying the airbag cushion to protect the occupant.
