Abstract

본 고안은 자동차의 배기관 내의 삽입되는 와류 발생장치 강관에 관한 것으로써 배기관 내의 와류를 일으킴으로써 배기가스의 유속증대로 인하여 엔진출력 향상과 연비감소, 매연감소 등의 효과를 볼 수 있도록 한 것이다.

본 고안은 일측에 소음기(20)가 부착되고, 엔진(30)과 연통된 통상의 배기관 본체를 구성함에 있어서 배기관 내의 삽입되는 와류발생장치 강관 내주연에는 3등분하여 홈(3)을 일정간격으로 연속 구성하고 이 홈(12) 사이에는 표면이 관내면에서 관중심 쪽으로 판재를 구성하고,내주연은 상기 홈(3)과 볼록면(2)을 비틀린 ... 연속 형성되게 한 구조를 특징으로 한다.

본 고안은 기존의 자동차 배기관의 구조를 크게 바꾸지 않고, 부가적인 구성없이 현재 자동차 배기관과 배기관 사이의 연결 볼트를 풀고, 와류 발생장치 강관을 끼워 놓고, 다시 연결 볼트를 조임으로써 간단하게 배기관 내에 와류를 일으켜서 배기가스의 유속증대가 될 수 있도록 관(1)과 비틀림판재(2)의 내면홈과 오목면 구조를 제공한다.
