도 2는 RC오실레이터부(230)의 동작 원리를 설명하기 위한 등가회로도이다.
도 3은 도 2의 각 노드에서 시간(t)에 따른 전압(V)변화를 도시한 그래프이다.
도 4는 RC오실레이터부(230)와 패턴 캐패시터(111) 연결 구성을 보여주는 등가회로도이다.
도 5는 도 4의 캐패시터 가변부(237)의 구성을 나타내는 구성도이다.
도 6는 비교기부(250) 동작원리를 설명하는 도면이다.

Claims (7)
- 좌표에 따른 패턴 캐패시터를 갖는 터치패널부; 및
상기 터치패널부의 패턴 캐패시터와 병렬적으로 연결되어 상기 패턴 캐패시터의 캐패시턴스 변화를 감지하여 접촉 판단의 디지털 신호를 출력하는 컨트롤IC부를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤IC부는
상기 터치패널부의 좌표에 따른 패턴 캐패시터를 선택적 연결시키는 MUX;
상기 MUX를 통해 선택된 패턴 캐패시터와 병렬로 연결되는 캐패시터를 구비한 RC오실레이터부;
상기 RC오실레이터부에서 출력하는 주파수를 카운트하는 카운터부; 및
상기 카운터부에서 카운트된 클럭 수와 기준 주파수 조건에서의 클럭 수를 비교하여 접촉 유무를 판단하고 해당하는 디지털 신호를 출력하는 비교기부를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤IC부는
상기 MUX와 RC오실레이터부 사이에 구성되어 상기 터치패널부에서 유입되는 노이즈를 제거하는 로우패스필터부가 더 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 RC오실레이터부는
제 1 노드와 제 2 노드사이에 구성되어 반전동작을 수행하는 제 1 인버터; 제 2 노드와 제 3 노드 사이에 구성되어 반전동작을 수행하는 제 2 인버터; 상기 제 1 노드와 제 2 노드 사이에 구성되는 저항부; 및 상기 제 1 노드와 제3노드 사이에 구성되어 상기 패턴 캐패시터와 병렬로 연결되는 캐패시터 가변부;를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 캐패시터 가변부는
캐패시턴스의 크기가 8:4:2:1의 비율을 갖는 캐패시터 소자가 병렬로 연결되고, 상기 캐패시터 소자와 직렬로 연결되는 제어스위치를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 제어스위치는 CMOS-FET으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 패턴 캐패시터는 ITO로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 터치 센서 IC.
