According to the present invention, since the inner region of the heating plate on which the heating unit and the temperature sensing unit are installed is separated by the blocking unit, it is possible to block the heat of the heating unit from being heated to the temperature sensing unit when sensing the temperature. Accordingly, the temperature sensing unit can more accurately detect the temperature of the hot plate, so that the user can more accurately control the target temperature of the hot plate.
Description
The present invention relates to a hair iron and a method of controlling the same, and more particularly, to a hair iron and a method of controlling the same, the temperature control and the temperature of which is precisely and easily controlled during hair shaping.

In addition, a power on / off switch is included in an operation unit that can control the temperature of the hot plate, thereby simplifying the temperature and power operation structure of the hair iron, and easily controlling power off or power supply control of the hair iron.
By sensing the temperature of the hot plate and controlling the driving of the heating unit, it is possible to increase the accuracy and completeness of hair shaping and to prevent hair damage.
