Abstract

PURPOSE: An automotive lower arm and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by minimizing a loss when a low arm material of a metal plate is blanked. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an automotive low arm is as follows. Two kinds of metal plates with different thicknesses are selected from an automotive low arm. Positions for minimizing a loss of the selected metal plates are blanked. The blanked metal plates are integrated using butt welding. A lower panel is formed by bending the metal plates.
