Abstract

PURPOSE: A UV sterilization system for an elevator is provided to effectively sterilize inside an elevator by directly irradiating ultraviolet rays to the inside the elevator. CONSTITUTION: A UV sterilization system(A) for an elevator comprises a sterilization system cover(3), germicidal lamps(1), and an elevator detecting sensor(5). The sterilization system cover is attached on the UV sterilization system. The germicidal lamps are installed inside the sterilization system. The elevator detecting sensor senses whether an elevator is operated or not and whether passengers are existed in the elevator or not.

The present invention relates to an elevator sterilization system. Specifically, a sensor for detecting whether a passenger is a passenger and an elevator is mounted inside the elevator, which is not harmful to the human body and minimizes waste of power and sterilizes the interior of the elevator.
