Claims (7)
- 제1 비트스트림과 제2 비트스트림을 편집하는 편집 장치로서,
상기 제1 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제1 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제1 비트 스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와, 상기 제2 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제2 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제2 비트스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제2 버퍼 특성 정보를 수취하는 수취 수단과;
상기 수취 수단에 의해 수취된 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와 제2 버퍼 특성 정보에 기초하여, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림이 편집 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 판정 수단과;
상기 판정 수단에 의해 편집 가능하다고 판단된 경우에, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림을 편집하는 편집 수단
을 포함하는 편집 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 판정 수단은, 상기 제1 버퍼 특성 정보에 의해 작성되는 제1 특성 곡선이, 상기 제2 버퍼 특성 정보에 의해 작성되는 제2 특성 곡선의 위에 위치하거나 또는 동일한 경우, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림이 편집 가능한 것으로 판정하는, 편집 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제1 비트스트림 내에 헤더로서 삽입되어 있고,
상기 제2 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제2 비트스트림 내에 헤더로서 삽입되어 있으며,
상기 수취 수단은, 상기 제1 비트스트림의 헤더로부터 상기 제1 버퍼 특성 정보를 취득하고, 상기 제2 비트스트림의 헤더로부터 상기 제2 버퍼 특성 정보를 취득하는, 편집 장치. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 제1 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제1 비트스트림 내의 랜덤 액세스가 가능한 소정 구간마다에 헤더로서 삽입되어 있고,
상기 제2 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제2 비트스트림 내의 랜덤 액세스가 가능한 소정 구간마다에 헤더로서 삽입되어 있는, 편집 장치. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 제1 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제1 비트스트림의 시퀀스 전체를 대상으로 한 버퍼 특성 정보로서 상기 제1 비트스트림에 삽입되어 있고,
상기 제2 버퍼 특성 정보는, 상기 제2 비트스트림의 시퀀스 전체를 대상으로 한 버퍼 특성 정보로서 상기 제2 비트스트림에 삽입되어 있는, 편집 장치. - 제1 비트스트림과 제2 비트스트림을 편집하는 편집 방법으로서,
상기 제1 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제1 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제1 비트 스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와, 상기 제2 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제2 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제2 비트스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제2 버퍼 특성 정보를 수취하는 단계와;
상기 수취 수단에 의해 수취된 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와 제2 버퍼 특성 정보에 기초하여, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림이 편집 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 단계와;
상기 판정 수단에 의해 편집 가능하다고 판단된 경우에, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림을 편집하는 단계
를 포함하는 편집 방법. - 컴퓨터로 판독가능한 기록 매체로서,
제1 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제1 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제1 비트 스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와, 제2 비트스트림의 비트 레이트와 상기 제2 비트스트림을 복호하는 때의 버퍼 사이즈의 조합에 따라 상기 제2 비트스트림이 복호 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 때에 사용하는 제2 버퍼 특성 정보를 수취하는 단계와;
상기 수취 수단에 의해 수취된 제1 버퍼 특성 정보와 제2 버퍼 특성 정보에 기초하여, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림이 편집 가능한지 여부를 판정하는 단계와;
상기 판정 수단에 의해 편집 가능하다고 판단된 경우에, 상기 제1 비트스트림과 상기 제2 비트스트림을 편집하는 단계
를 실행시키는 프로그램이 기록된, 컴퓨터로 판독가능한 기록 매체.
