A diameter ratio of the steel cord is 0.57~0.95, and a twisted period is ~100 times of the diameter ratio. The tensile strength of the steel cord is 250~450 kg/mm^2. An arrangement interval of the steel cord is 0.3mm.

Description

편평 나선형 단선 스틸코드를 이용한 고무제품의 제조방법 { Method of producing rubber products using a twisted flat steel cord }{Method of producing rubber products using a twisted flat steel cord}

The present invention relates to a method for producing a rubber product using a flat spiral single wire steel cord.

Steel cord is a tire reinforcing material because it has excellent strength, modulus, heat resistance, heat transfer rate, fatigue resistance and rubber adhesiveness among various kinds of reinforcing materials used to reinforce various rubber products including tires and industrial belts of vehicles. In particular, it is widely used and its usage is also increasing day by day.

Steel cords are usually wire drawn from 5.0 to 5.5mm in diameter with carbon steel with carbon content of 0.6 ~ 0.95% by weight. Various strands of filament with a diameter of 0.1 ~ 0.4mm and strength of 280 ~ 380kg / mm2 (1 × 2, 1 × 3, 2 + 2, 2 + 7, 3 + 6, 3 + 8, 3+ 9 + 15, 1 + 18, 3/8 + 13 and the like).

Steel cords of 1 × 2, 1 × 3, and 2 + 2 structures are commonly used in the belt layer of radial tires for passenger cars. The steel cords of such structures have high stiffness but the repulsive force of tires on uneven roads with uneven roads It's too strong and the ride is not good. In addition, because the adjacent filaments are bonded to each other in contact with each other, fine voids exist in the steel cord, and as a result, when the water penetrates the rubber during tire driving, corrosion of the steel wire causes rapid damage to the adhesive layer between the rubber and the steel cord. There is a problem.

In addition, when the tire is deformed or vibrated, there is a problem in that the cord wire is easily broken by generating a so-called fretting wear, in which the twisted wires rub together to cause friction.

In order to solve these problems, many single wire steel cords having one strand of filament have been proposed instead of steel cords made by twisting multiple strands. In recent years, research on automobile fuel economy improvement has been actively conducted for various reasons such as global environmental protection, and tire weight reduction is being promoted.

Therefore, the development of thin and light single-wire steel cords is urgently needed.

Korean Patent No. 10-0318896 proposes a flat spiral single wire steel cord by applying a torsional stress to the flattened single wire steel cord itself, but since such steel cords apply a torsional stress in only one direction to give a spiral shape, In order to cut a certain size after embedding in parallel to the rubber, the tip rising of the rubber sheet embedded with the steel cord often occurs due to the rotational direction of the steel cord in one direction. There is a problem that leads to reduced workability.

The present invention is to suppress the twist of the steel cord in the rotational direction of only one direction when embedding the flat spiral single-wire steel cord in the rubber to improve the workability during tire manufacturing.

According to the present invention, when the flat spiral single-wire steel cord is embedded in a rubber sheet, twisting directions (S twist and Z twist) are alternately arranged so that rotational twist due to twist is canceled out.

The present invention can reduce the occurrence of the tip rise during the production of rubber products such as tires because the rotationality due to the twisting imparted to the steel cord can be reduced, thereby improving the workability of manufacturing rubber products such as tires.

According to the present invention, a circular filament having a carbon content of 0.70 to 1.0%, a tensile strength of 250 to 450 kg / mm 2 , and a diameter of 0.2 to 1.0 mm is used for a flat surface having a short diameter / long diameter ratio of 0.57 to 0.95. Flat spiral steel cords (Fig. 1 (a) and (b) in Fig. 1) formed by twisting at 2 to 100 times the short diameter by applying a torsional stress at the same time to the spiral sheet in parallel Manufacturing workability of rubber products such as tires because the stress distribution of the rubber sheet according to the rotationality of the steel cord is constant by embedding the S-twist and Z-twist alternately so that the twist directions are opposite to each other. This is to be improved.
