Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a door damper, and more particularly, a safety check valve is formed therein in case a shock greater than the design pressure is applied to a general door damper that absorbs an impact to safely and quietly close the door. It relates to a door damper.
Generally, the door is attached to a furniture or a sink such as a wardrobe or a bookshelf of a home by a spring hinge so that the door can be easily closed by a small force. There was a danger.
In particular, when a young child inadvertently closes the door inadvertently, there is a problem such as a case in which a finger is caught between the door frame and the door to cause injury.
In order to solve this problem, a door damper as shown in FIG. 9 is conventionally developed.
The conventional door damper has a structure in which oil in the oil chamber can be closed quickly by increasing the flow path when the impact is small by using a check valve, and absorbing the shock by reducing the flow path when the impact is large.
However, since the conventional door damper absorbs the shock only by limiting the flow of oil using the check valve, the following problems occur.
(1) If an impact over the design pressure occurs, it is easily broken.
(2) Tolerance management of check valve is difficult and it does not work properly.
(3) If the oil seal is elapsed for a long time, it may shrink and the oil may spill out.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention includes a cylindrical body having one side open and a bumper formed at the other side; A return spring inserted into the main body; A spring holder holding the return spring; A piston inserted into the spring holder; A check valve formed between the spring holder and the piston; A piston rod formed on one side of the piston and protruding to the outside of the main body; An oil dispersing opening through which the piston rod penetrates and contacts the piston; A sponge in contact with the oil dispersing opening and having a piston rod penetrated therein and fixed by a bushing; An oil seal formed at an end of the bushing; In the general door damper composed of a cover that blocks the rear of the main body,
In addition to the check valve formed between the piston and the spring holder is characterized in that the safety check valve is formed inside the piston so that the safety check valve can be opened when the pressure exceeds the design pressure.
As described above, according to the door damper of the present invention, the following effects occur.
(1) In the event of an impact above the design pressure, the safety check valve can absorb the shock, preventing damage.
(2) Since the flow path can be adjusted only by the protruding ribs formed on the outer circumference of the check valve, the tolerance management is easy, thus improving the productivity.
(3) Even long-term use does not cause problems such as reduced oil seal or leakage.
