Abstract

A shutoff valve for preventing fuel from leaking in a vehicle is provided to inject fuel smoothly by minimizing the resistance pressure against fuel injection and to improve tightness by using a rubber seal in order to prevent fuel leakage. A shutoff valve includes a valve housing(10), a valve(11), a spring(13), and a seal(14). The valve housing has a step with a curved surface. The vale includes a valve body(11a) integrally formed with a valve stem(11b). The valve body has a funnel shape. The spring surrounds the valve stem to support the valve elastically. The seal is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the valve body. The seal has a curved surface to stick to the step.
