A method for cleaning pipes in a building by reciprocating a spring wire having a wire brush is provided to remove scales and rust in the pipe. A method for cleaning pipes in a building by reciprocating a spring wire(10) having a wire brush(4) includes the steps of: interposing a Y shaped joint between gate valves(1,2), and inserting the wire spring into the Y shaped joint; linking the wire brush to the spring wire; and reciprocating the wire brush through the pipe by winding and unwinding the wire spring wound around motor reels(5,6).
