Abstract

A label producing method is provided to secure a label attachment automation process by smoothly unwinding a label wound in a reel form and to prevent various foreign materials from penetrating into a printed part of a surface sheet of the label. In a label producing method, a surface sheet having an adhesive layer is laminated on a release paper(10) and printed. And then, a rest unnecessary part except for a printed part(14a) of the surface sheet is removed from the release paper by first die-cutting. The printed part of the surface sheet left on the release paper and a transparent protection film(18) having an adhesive layer(16) are laminated on the release paper. And then, the protection film is secondarily die-cut in order to form a margin part(20) larger than the printed part of the surface sheet. A rest unnecessary part(18b) except for a transparent protection part(18a) including the margin part and covering the printed part of the surface sheet is removed from the release paper.
