Abstract

경찰청 통계에 따르면 2000년 한 해 동안 어린이(만14세 이하) 교통사고는 2만 6700여 건으로 518명이 죽고 2만9520명이 다쳐 하루 80여 명꼴로 어린 이 사상자가 발생했다. 이 가운데 무려 68.2%나 되는 353명이 길을 건너거나 걷다가 보행중 사망사고를 당했다. 또한 86명은 자동차 승차중(16.6%), 30명은 자전 거 승차중(5.8%), 27명은 이륜차 승차중(5.2%) 차량에 희생됐다.어린이 교통사고 사망자의 86.9%는 초등학생 이하(미 취 원아 29.5%, 유치원아 23.4%, 초등학생 34%) 어린이다. 2002년에는 전체 oecd 국가 중 어린이 교통사고율 1위를 차지하였으며 그 이후 계속 교통사고율이 줄어들지 않고 있다. 이러한 선진국에 비하여 우리나라의 높은 어린이 교통사고율은 모두가 어른들의 부주의 및 후진형 주입식 교통 안전 교육에 기인한다 라고 전문가들이 결론지었다.따라서 교통안전교육의 선진형 발전이 이루어지지 않는다면 사고율은 줄지 않는다는 충격적 보고 내용이다

본 개발 물은 본래의 켐페인 적인 주입식 어린이 안전교육이 아닌 더욱 효과적인 교육용 멀티미디어교재로서 흥미로운 시각적인 교육은 물론, 실제로 체험하는듯한 각종 도로상황 및 어린이 10대 사고 유형 별 을 실제 현장처럼 느껴질 수 있도록 3D 디지털 애니메이션과 미니어쳐 셋트로 만들고 인형을 움직여 만드는 3D클레이메이션 컨텐츠로 구성된 가상 현실 공간을 보여주는 터치스크린과 컴퓨터 그리고 동여상이후의 학습 효과를 확인하는 Voice ic가 장착된 자동 문답기 등으로 만들어진 텃치 스크린 방식의 교통안전교육용 키오스 (kiosk)이다.

교육의 최고의 효과적인 교육은 실제 체험적 교육이라 한다. 그런데도 불구하고 실제로 소중한 생명이 좌우되는 교통안전 교육은, 선진국 수준에 못 미쳐, 학교, 집, 등에서 교사,부모님 등을 통한 주의에 불과하거나, 영상, 책자를 통한 시청각 교육으로 되어있고 그나마 체험적 교육이 가능한 곳은 학습자들이 잘 알지 못하는 교통 전문 교육관공서 및 전시관을 따로 찾아야 하는데,체험학습 영상이라기보다는 단지 교통안전교육을 움직이는 그림으로 보여주는 것이며,학습기 조작도 매우 어려워 도움을 주는 선생님이나 어른들이 조작하여 보여주거나 이동이 불가능한 고착형 교육기로 되어있어 실제 사용효과가 매우 저조한 실정이다.The best effective education of education is called actual experiential education.
