Description
Claims (11)
- 다중 계층(multi-tier) 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 노드에 의해 비콘(beacon)을 송신하는 방법으로서,상기 다중 계층 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 계층 1 노드에 의해 제1 비콘을 송신하는 단계와,상기 제1 비콘이 상기 계층 1 노드에 의해 송신되는 시간에 기초하여 계층 2 노드에 의해 제2 비콘을 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 노드는 클라이언트 및 액세스 포인트를 포함하는 리스트로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 비콘이 상기 계층 2 노드에 의해 송신되는 시간에 기초하여 계층 3 노드에 의해 제3 비콘을 송신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 비콘은, 상기 계층 1 노드와 관련된 클라이언트에 대한 비콘 전파 기간을 표시하는 정보 필드를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제1 비콘은 상기 계층 1 노드와 관련된 노드에 대한 펜딩 트래픽(pending traffic)을 표시하는 정보 필드를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 제2 비콘은 상기 비콘 전파 기간 동안 클라이언트에 의해 송신되는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 비콘 전파 기간은 보호 시간(protected time)인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 비콘 전파 기간은 제어 액세스 기간에 대응하는 미리-지정된 시간인 방법.
- 다중 계층 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 액세스 포인트에 의해 비콘을 송신하는 방법으로서,상기 다중 계층 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 계층 1 액세스 포인트에 의해 제1 비콘을 송신하는 단계와,상기 제1 비콘이 상기 계층 1 액세스 포인트에 의해 송신되는 시간에 기초하여 계층 2 액세스 포인트에 의해 제2 비콘을 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 제1 비콘은 제1 채널상에서 송신되고, 상기 제2 비콘은 제2 채널상에서 송신되며, 상기 제2 채널은 상기 제1 채널에 기초하는 방법.
- 다중 계층 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 클라이언트에 의해 비콘을 송신하는 방법으로서,상기 다중 계층 무선 근거리 네트워크에서 계층 1 클라이언트에 의해 제1 비콘을 송신하는 단계와,상기 제1 비콘이 상기 계층 1 클라이언트에 의해 송신되는 시간에 기초하여 계층 2 클라이언트에 의해 제2 비콘을 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
