Claims (10)
- 수지층과 금속층을 포함하는 시트형 전지케이스 내부에 양극/분리막/음극의 전극조립체를 내장한 상태에서 밀봉한 이차전지로서, 두 개의 바이메탈로 이루어져 있고, 각각의 바이메탈들은 열팽창율이 상대적으로 작은 금속들이 서로 대면하도록 접촉되어 있으며, 상기 바이메탈들의 양단부가 접합되어 있는 구조의 안전부재가 전지케이스 외주면의 실링부에 장착되어 있는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지케이스는 수지층과 금속층의 파우치형 라미네이트 시트로서, 상기 안전부재를 상부 시트와 하부 시트 사이에 개재한 상태에서 열융착시켜 밀봉하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 안전부재는 전지케이스의 상단 실링부에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 안전부재는 상단 실링부의 전극단자들 사이에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 안전부재는 그것의 상단 및 하단이 실링부의 내면에 위치하도록 장착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 안전부재는 동일한 소재의 두 바이메탈들로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 안전부재는 90 내지 130℃의 온도에서 열팽창의 차이가 발생하여 상기 접촉면이 벌어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 안전부재의 바이메탈에서, 상기 열팽창율이 작은 금속은 니켈/철의 합금으로 이루어져 있고, 상기 열팽창율이 큰 금속은 구리/아연의 합금, 니켈/망간/철의 합금, 니켈/몰리브덴/철의 합금, 및 망간/니켈//리의 합금에서 선택되는 금속으로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 바이메탈들의 총 두께는 0.1 내지 1인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 바이메탈의 양단부 접합부는 전지케이스와의 접촉면에 이격홈이 발생하지 않도록 바깥쪽을 향해 그것의 상하면이 테이퍼된 구조(경사면 구조)로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
