Abstract

A manufacturing method of a clinching nut is provided to drastically improve productivity compared to the existing cutting method and reduce the production cost by manufacturing the clinching nut in a forging method using a metallic mold and to enhance quality of the clinching nut by removing bubbles or impurities in a material and precisely, finely, and strongly forming crystal particles. A clinching nut(10) comprises a screw hole(11) formed inside; an anchor step(15) formed on the outer peripheral surface in a direction to be pressed onto a base metal from a main body unit; and a serration(17) formed between the main body unit and the anchor step. A manufacturing method of the clinching nut comprises the steps for forming a first slope unit(14) to form the anchor step downward a circumferential material(10a,P1); forming an upper inlet port(11a) of the screw hole on the material and simultaneously forming an anchor protrusion step(15a) by pressing the first slope unit(P2); forming a second slope unit(16) and a lower inlet port(11b) of the screw hole at the main body adjacent to the anchor protrusion step(P3); forming the serration by pressing the second slope unit(P4); and broadening the anchor step by pressing the protrusion step(P5).
