Claims (23)
- 제 1 기판 상에 형성된 제 1 전극과,상기 제 1 전극 상에 러빙된 제 1 배향막과,상기 제 1 기판에 대향하는 제 2 기판 상에 상기 1 전극 영역을 이분할하도록 패터닝된 제 2 전극과,상기 제 2 전극 상에 러빙된 제 2 배향막과,상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에 형성되는 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막의 러빙 방향과 제 2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 상기 액정층의 액정 분자들에 프리틸트가 형성되지 않는 방향인 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막의 러빙 방향이 기판에 수평한 기준선으로부터 반시계 방향으로 45˚이면, 상기 제 2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 315˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극과 분할된 제 2 전극 사이에는 두개의 도메인이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극과 분할된 제 2 전극 사이에는 시야각 대칭 구조로 액정 분자들이 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정층의 분자 배열은 하시야각 방향과 상시야각 방향의 위상 지연 값이 동일하도록 투도메인 형태로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 전극의 이분할된 영역에는 블랙매트릭스가 배치되어 빛샘을 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 기판 상에 형성된 제 1 전극과,상기 제 1 전극 상에 러빙된 제 1 배향막과,상기 제 1 기판에 대향하는 제 2 기판 상에 상기 1 전극 영역을 이분할하도 록 패터닝된 제 2 전극과,상기 제 2 전극 상에 러빙된 제 2 배향막과,상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에서 프리틸트각이 형성되지 않도록 액정 분자들이 배열된 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막의 러빙 방향과 제 2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 상기 액정층의 액정 분자들이 프리틸트각을 갖지 않도록 수직하게 러빙된 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막의 러빙 방향이 기판에 수평한 기준선으로부터 반시계 방향으로 45˚이면, 상기 제 2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 315˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 전극의 이분할된 영역에는 블랙매트릭스가 배치되어 빛샘을 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 기판 상에 블랙매트릭스를 형성하는 공정과,상기 블랙매트릭스가 형성된 기판 상에 순차적으로 R, G, B 컬러필터층을 형성하는 공정과,상기 R, G, B 컬러필터층이 형성된 기판 상에 투명 금속막을 증착하고, 식각하여 단위 화소 영역을 이분할하도록 공통전극을 형성하는 공정과,상기 공통 전극이 형성된 기판 상에 배향막을 형성하는 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 블랙매트릭스 형성공정에서는 상기 공통전극이 이분할되는 영역에 대응하는 영역에 블랙매트릭스를 형성하여 빛샘 불량을 방지하도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 1 기판 상에 형성되어 화소 전극과,상기 제 1 기판에 대응되는 제 2 기판 상에 상기 화소 전극과 마주하도록 형성된 제 1, 제 2 공통 전극과,상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판 사이에 게재된 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 오프 상태일 때, 액정 분자들에 프리틸트각이 형성되지 않는 상태로 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 액정층은 온 상태일 때, 액정 분자들이 상기 제 1 공통 전극과 제 2 공통 전극에서 각각 독립적으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 16 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 공통 전극 방향으로 배열되는 액정 배열 방향과 상기 제 2 공통 전극 방향으로 배열되는 액정 배열 방향은 서로 대칭적인 구조인 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 기판 상에 형성된 제 1 전극과,상기 제 1 전극 상에 러빙된 제 1 배향막과,상기 제 1 기판에 대향하는 제 2 기판 상에 상기 1 전극 영역을 이분할하도록 패터닝된 제 2 전극과,상기 제 2 전극 상에 러빙된 제 2 배향막과,상기 제 1, 2 기판 사이에서 프리틸트각이 형성되지 않도록 액정 분자들이 배열된 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 배향막의 러빙 방향이 기판에 수평한 기준선으로부터 반시계 방향으로 45˚이면, 상기 제 2 배향막의 러빙 방향은 315˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극과 분할된 제 2 전극 사이에는 두개의 도메인이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 전극과 분할된 제 2 전극 사이에는 시야각 대칭 구조로 액정 분자들이 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 액정층의 분자 배열은 하시야각 방향과 상시야각 방향의 위상 지연 값이 동일하도록 투도메인 형태로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 티엔 모드 액정표시장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 전극의 이분할된 영역에는 블랙매트릭스가 배치되어 빛샘을 방지 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
