Claims (3)
- 위성 또는 지상파 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(DMB) 송신기마다 고유한 식별자를 부여하는 단계와;각 송신기들은 방송 데이터 프레임의 기 설정된 위치에 자신에게 부여된 고유 식별자를 추가하여 방송을 실시하는 단계와;상기 송신기로부터 방송 프레임을 수신한 수신 단말기는 해당 프레임으로부터 송신기의 고유 식별자를 획득하여 자신의 위치정보를 갱신하는 단계와;위치기반 정보 채널로부터 목표 송신기 식별자가 포함된 위치기반 정보를 수신하는 경우 자신의 위치정보에 해당하는 송신기 고유 식별자와 수신된 위치기반 정보에 포함된 목표 송신기 식별자를 비교하여 일치하면 해당 위치기반 정보를 처리하고 일치하지 않으면 수신된 정보를 폐기하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송을 위한 위치기반 서비스 제공 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 송신기 고유 식별자는 복수 단계의 서브 클래스로 규정되어 고유 식별자의 일부나 전부를 이용하여 개별 송신기 단위나 일정 영역의 송신기 집단 단위로 구별할 수 있도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송을 위한 위치기반 서비스 제공 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 단말기는 위치기반 방송 채널을 포함한 복수의 채널을 동시에 수신하며, 위치기반 방송 이외의 채널을 시청하는 중에도 자신의 위치정보로 간주되는 송신기 식별자가 포함된 위치기반 정보가 방송되면 해당 방송 내용을 사용자에게 제공하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송을 위한 위치기반 서비스 제공 방법.
