Abstract

An MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) message transmitting method is provided to make a user decide whether to attach an advertisement to an MMS message, and to transmit the MMS message with the attached advertisement to a receiving terminal by an MMS server, thereby using an MMS service at a low price by reading the advertisement. A user selects an MMS message, and sets whether to attach an advertisement to the MMS message. The user transmits the MMS message to an MMS server. The MMS server decides whether the user permits to attach an advertisement to the MMS message. If so, the MMS server attaches the advertisement to the MMS message, and transmits the MMS message with the attached advertisement to a receiving terminal. When the receiving terminal receives the MMS message attached the advertisement, contents of the MMS message is displayed on the terminal after showing the advertisement.
