표 2의 결과를 참조하면 140oC, 2기압의 조건에서 추출은 2시간 30분 이후에는 아줄렌이 거의 추출되지 않음을 알수 있다. 따라서, 140oC, 2기압의 조건은 수증기 증류법으로 추출가능한 대부분의 유효물질을 추출 할 수 있음을 알수 있다. 더우기 본 실시예 2를 통하여 얻은 추출물의 색은 거의 무색에 가까왔는데, 이는 실시예 1의 1단계 증류에서 열에 의하여 변형될 만한 성분들이 대부분 미리 추출되었음을 의미한다. 따라서, 본 발명이 제시하고 있는 2단계 수증기 증류법에 의하면 열에 민감한 유효 성분들과 고온에서 추출이 용이한 성분 모두를 효율적으로 추출할 수 있었고, 무엇보다도 양질의 투명도가 뛰어난 정유 성분을 얻을 수 있었다.Referring to the results of Table 2, it can be seen that azulene is hardly extracted after 2 hours and 30 minutes at 140 ° C and 2 atmospheres.
