Description

{PROTECTING COVER OF PIPE}

The present invention relates to a protective cover for a pipe, and more particularly, to a protective cover for a pipe that prevents foreign matter from entering the inside of a pipe when the pipe material is stored and stored.

Generally, when a ship and a ship are dried in a shipbuilding company, a plurality of blocks are formed and welded to each other, and a plurality of pipes are installed inside. The material of the pipe is mostly metal, which causes corrosion.

Since the piping is often stored and stored outside the room, there is a high possibility that the piping is exposed to the external environment and thus contaminated. Since the inside of the piping is not easy to identify, it is often found after installation that pollution has occurred due to foreign matter such as moisture, dust, iron powder and the like. Also, it is important to keep the inside of the pipe clean, since the cleaning is difficult even if the foreign matter is confirmed.

Therefore, the protective cover is fastened to the end portion of the pipe so as to prevent foreign matter from flowing into the pipe. The shape of the protective cover varies depending on the material and size of the piping. Since the size of the piping varies, a protective cover of various products suitable for the piping size is required. In addition, the protective cover has a different method of fastening to the pipe depending on the material and shape.

The material of the protective cover may be steel, plastic, rubber, wood or the like. There is a protective cover to which an adhesive is applied, and a protective fastening method is required for a protective cover to which no adhesive is applied.

For example, when the protective cover is made of a material having weak durability such as vinyl or nonwoven fabric, the fastening operation is easy but it is most likely to be damaged and is mostly one-time. When the protective cover is made of steel or wood, there is little risk of damage due to its excellent durability. However, since it requires bolting or fixing with a strap, it takes a lot of time to install and remove it. If the protective cover is made of rubber or plastic, extra sealing is required to prevent the gap between the pipe and the piping, so that it takes a long time to work and there is a risk of contamination due to damage.

That is, when the protective cover is fastened in the state that the water is trapped inside the pipe, the conventional protective cover causes corrosion damage inside the pipe due to the remaining water. In addition, the conventional protective cover is uneconomical and environmentally friendly because it is used only once and is damaged when it is inadvertently stored. Further, since the conventional protective cover can not be matched according to the diameter of the pipe, a large number of the protective covers are required, which increases the cost.

Korean Registered Utility Model No. 20-0203756 (2000.09.07)

In order to solve such a conventional problem, the present invention provides a protective cover for a pipe which can prevent corrosion damage due to the residual moisture inside the pipe, is easy to fasten and disassemble, and can be effectively applied to pipes of various diameters.

A protective cover for a piping according to the present invention comprises: a body having both ends opened in a longitudinal direction, one end of which is engaged with an end of a pipe; And a mesh member provided at the other end of the body for filtering foreign matter and passing air therethrough.

The protective cover of the pipe according to the present invention improves workability and productivity, prevents corrosion inside the pipe due to moisture due to retaining of ventilation performance, is excellent in durability, and can be applied to pipes of various diameters.

Hereinafter, the technical construction of the protective cover of the pipe will be described in detail as follows.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a protective cover according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view illustrating a protective cover according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a cross- FIG. 4 is a rear view showing a protective cover according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 is a front view showing a cover in an embodiment of the present invention FIGS. 7A to 7C illustrate a process in which a protective cover according to an embodiment of the present invention is coupled to a pipe, and FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the present invention Fig. 2 shows a use example of a protective cover according to the present invention.

1 to 8, a protective cover 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention is mounted and detachably attached to an end of a pipe 99, and includes a body 10 and a mesh member 20 ).

The body 10 is made of a polymer material such as rubber or the like, which is excellent in hermeticity and is flexible and viscoelastic, or made of a material such as a plastic magnet. That is, the body 10 itself is made of a material having a predetermined elasticity. In addition, the body 10 is made of a material having excellent weather resistance according to external exposure factors such as water, sunlight, and the like.

The body 10 has a substantially cylindrical shape, and both end portions are opened in the longitudinal direction. In this case, the longitudinal direction of the body 10 is a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pipe 99. One end (13) of the body (10) is engaged with the end of the pipe (99). The end of the pipe 99 is inserted into the one end 13 of the body 10. That is, the outer circumferential surface of the pipe 99 is fitted to the inner circumferential surface of the body 10.

The mesh member (20) is provided at the other end (11) of the body (10). The mesh member 20 has a mesh structure to filter foreign matter and allow air to pass therethrough. That is, as shown in FIG. 8, the mesh member 20 has a relatively fine mesh structure so that only air can pass without passing moisture, dust, iron powder, or the like.

The protection cover 100 configured as described above performs a basic function of blocking foreign matter from flowing into the piping 99 and enhances air permeability to prevent the piping from being damaged due to moisture remaining in the piping 99. [ .

5, the mesh member 20 constitutes a curved surface portion 21 having a shape recessed toward the one end portion 13 from the other end portion 11 in the inside of the body 10. [ The mesh member 20 has a half-moon-like shape bent inward, making it difficult for moisture to penetrate and water to flow down well.

Referring to FIG. 2, the body 10 constitutes an inclined surface 15 whose diameter decreases from the other end 11 toward the one end 13. As shown in FIG. When the body 10 is viewed from the side, it has a substantially trapezoidal shape. With this configuration, one end portion 13 of the body 10, which is engaged with the end portion of the pipe 99 when the protective cover 100 is coupled to the pipe 99, is more firmly fixed.

Referring to FIG. 6, it is preferable that the mesh member 20 includes a coating layer 23 that performs water repellent and antifouling functions on its surface. Therefore, the corrosion resistance of the mesh member 20 is improved, penetration of foreign matter such as moisture and fine dusts is more effectively prevented, and blocking of atmospheric dust is further improved due to the generation of static electricity.

A curled portion 17 is formed at one end 13 of the body 10 in a radially inward direction. When the piping 99 is inserted into the body 10, the curled portion 17 is curled inward to fix the piping 99 and the body 10. With this configuration, the tightening force between the piping and the protective cover can be enhanced and the airtightness can be improved.

That is, FIG. 7A shows a state before the protective cover and the piping are coupled. When the piping starts to be inserted into the protective cover as shown in FIG. 7B, the curled portion 17 is curled inward. Thereafter, when the pipe is completely inserted into the protective cover as shown in FIG. 7C, the curled portion 17 is curled to improve the fastening force. When the protective cover is detached from the piping, the procedure is reversed.

In addition, a packing member 27 is further provided along the outer edge of the mesh member 20. The packing member 27 performs a sealing function to improve airtightness.

Although the protective cover of the pipe according to the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings, it is to be understood that various modifications and equivalent embodiments are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the true scope of the technical protection should be determined by the technical idea of the appended claims.
