Description
The present invention relates to epidural catheter.
Epidural neuroplasty is a treatment method that treats pain by using a so-called epidural catheter, approaching the end of the catheter to the pain area of the epidural space, and injecting a special drug through the catheter from the outside. This is a non-surgical treatment that removes inflammation and swelling around the spinal nerves or unnecessary scar tissue around the nerves.
The epidural catheter is a thin flexible tube of about 30cm to 60cm, a main body which is fixed to the rear end of the flexible tube and has a flow path for inducing a chemical liquid supplied from a syringe into the flexible tube, and the flexible tube through the main body. It consists of a guide wire fitted to the. The guide wire is a thin metal wire for reinforcing stiffness in the flexible tube.
The flexible tube is coated with a guide wire, and the chemical solution is applied to the site through the open hole of the tailbone, the tip of which reaches the adhesion or scar area of the epidural space.
1 is a diagram illustrating a conventional epidural catheter.
As shown, the conventional
The
Thus, since the flow path is formed inside the
In addition, the

As shown in the figure, the
By the way, conventional
As described above, in order to inject the drug solution into the pain area using the conventional
In addition, the conventional
