Claims (8)
- 양극판과 음극판 및 이 극판들 사이에 개재되는 세퍼레이터를 구비하는 전극 조립체와;상기 전극 조립체가 내부에 수납되는 캔과;상기 캔의 개구부를 밀봉하는 캡 플레이트와;상기 캔의 내압이 규정치 이상으로 상승할 때 파열되어 상기 내압을 감소시키는 안전변;을 포함하며, 상기 안전변은 캡 플레이트와 캔이 서로 밀봉되는 밀봉부에 제공되는 이차 전지.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉부는 고 밀봉부와 저 밀봉부로 이루어지며, 상기 안전변은 저 밀봉부로 이루어지는 이차 전지.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 안전변은 0.1∼10㎜의 길이로 형성되는 이차 전지.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서, 상기 안전변은 12kgf 이상의 압력이 발생할 때 파열되는 이차 전지.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 캔이 각형으로 이루어지는 이차 전지.
- 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 캔이 원통형으로 이루어지는 이차 전지.
- 전지 내압이 규정 압력 이상으로 상승할 때 상기 내압을 감소시키도록 파열되는 안전변을 제조하기 위한 각형 이차 전지의 안전변 제조 방법으로서,캡 플레이트를 각형 캔의 개구부에 용접하여 밀봉부를 형성할 때, 상기 밀봉부의 일부 구간에서는 용접 강도를 조절하여 다른 구간보다 용접 강도가 낮은 저 밀봉부를 형성함으로써, 저 밀봉부가 상기 안전변으로 작용하도록 하는 이차 전지의 안전변 제조 방법.
- 전지 내압이 규정 압력 이상으로 상승할 때 상기 내압을 감소시키도록 파열되는 안전변을 제조하기 위한 원통형 이차 전지의 안전변 제조 방법으로서,캡 플레이트를 원통형 캔의 개구부에 크림핑하여 밀봉부를 형성할 때, 상기 밀봉부의 일부 구간에서는 크림핑 강도를 조절하여 다른 구간보다 크림핑 강도가 낮은 저 밀봉부를 형성함으로써, 저 밀봉부가 상기 안전변으로 작용하도록 하는 이차 전지의 안전변 제조 방법.
