Abstract

PURPOSE: A shovel for a hammer drill is provided to enable the hammer drill to be used in an extended area of the ground by installing the same in the hammer drill in place of a chisel, and to efficiently dig a frozen ground surface, thereby reducing a considerable amount of labor and cost required to accomplish the digging task during the winter months.
