Description

냉장고{REFRIGERATOR}Refrigerator {REFRIGERATOR}

The present invention relates to a refrigerator, and more particularly, to a refrigerator having an improved connection structure of a pipe connected to an evaporator.

In general, a refrigerator is a device for supplying cold air generated in a cooling device to a storage room in which food or the like is stored so that the storage room is kept in a cool state for a long time to keep the storage fresh.

In the refrigerator, as shown in FIG. 1, an evaporator 1 for generating cold air is provided at an inner rear side of the storage compartment, and the air inside the storage compartment passes through the evaporator 1 above the evaporator 1. The cold air circulation fan 2 which makes cold air by making it circulate is provided. In addition, the lower part of the evaporator 1 collects and discharges defrost water flowing down from the evaporator 1 when removing the frost generated in the evaporator 1, and the defrost water receiver having a width slightly larger than that of the evaporator 1 is collected. (3) is installed, the defrost water receiving (3) is connected to the drain pipe (4) for the discharge of defrost water.

Inlet and outlet connections 5 connected to the outlet of the refrigerant expansion device (not shown) and the suction side of the compressor (not shown) are respectively provided at the inlet and the outlet of the evaporator 1 to allow the refrigerant circulation to the evaporator 1. And outlet connection pipes 6 are respectively connected. At this time, the inlet side connecting pipe 5 and the outlet side connecting pipe 6 respectively extend a predetermined length from the evaporator 1 to the side and then extend downward.

However, since the conventional refrigerator has a structure in which two connection pipes 5 and 6 connected to the evaporator 1 extend a predetermined length to the side of the evaporator 1 and then extend downward again, the defrosting operation of the evaporator 1 is performed. Defrost water flowing from the frost generated in the inlet side connection pipe 5 and the outlet side connection pipe 6 does not flow into the defrosting receiver 3 and is not discharged to the outside, but along the two connection pipes 5 and 6. There was a problem flowing into the storage compartment. That is, the defrost water flowing down from the evaporator 1 is discharged to the outside through the defrosting receiver 3, but the defrost water from the two connecting pipes 5 and 6 flows into the storage chamber along the connecting pipes 5 and 6. There was a problem.

The present invention is to solve such a problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator to prevent the problem of defrost water flowing from the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe connected to the evaporator flows into the storage compartment.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 2, the refrigerator according to the present invention has a storage compartment 11 storing food in the main body 10, and opens and closes the storage compartment 11 at an open front surface of the storage compartment 11. The door 12 is installed. In the storage compartment 11, a shelf 13 is installed to easily store the storage.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, inside the storage chamber 11, the cooling chamber 14 and the storage chamber 13 for generating cold air are partitioned and an inner plate for forming a flow path of cold air ( 15) is installed. At this time, the air flow path 16 and the discharge port 17 of the cold air are provided in the inner plate 15 to guide the air inside the cooling chamber 14 to the storage chamber, and the storage chamber 11 is provided at the lower end of the inner plate 15. Inlet 18 is formed to allow the internal air of the back to enter the cooling chamber (14).

An evaporator 20 is installed in the cooling chamber 14 behind the inner plate 15 so as to generate cold air through heat exchange with the internal air of the storage chamber 11, and is located inside the storage chamber 11 above the evaporator 20. The cold air circulation fan 30 is installed to force air to circulate through the evaporator 20. In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, when the frost generated in the evaporator 20 is removed from the lower part of the evaporator 20, the width of the evaporator 20 may be collected so that defrost water flowing from the evaporator 20 may be collected and discharged. The defrosting receiver 40 is provided to have a width L2 slightly larger than that of L1, and the dewatering receiver 40 is connected to a drain pipe 41 for discharging the defrosting water.

The configuration of the refrigerator is that the cold air heat exchanged through the evaporator 20 of the cooling chamber 14 when the cold air circulation fan 30 operates into the storage chamber 11 through the discharge passage 16 and the discharge port 17. The air inside the storage compartment 11 is supplied to the evaporator 20 through the inlet 18 under the cooling chamber 14 so that the storage compartment 11 may be cooled.

Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 3, the evaporator 20 of the refrigerator includes a refrigerant pipe 21 bent a plurality of times, a plurality of cooling fins 22 and an evaporator 20 coupled to an outer surface of the refrigerant pipe 21. It includes a reinforcing plate 23 is coupled to both sides of the evaporator 20 for the rigid reinforcement of). In addition, a defrost heater 42 is installed under the evaporator 20 to generate heat by being supplied with power for defrosting the evaporator 20.

Inlet and outlet of the evaporator 20 is connected to the inlet side of the refrigerant expansion device (not shown) and the suction side of the compressor (not shown) connected to the inlet and outlet of the evaporator 20, respectively 24 And outlet connection pipes 25 are respectively provided.

At this time, in the present invention, the connecting portions of the two connecting pipes 24 and 25 which are connected to the evaporator 20 extend upwardly a predetermined length upward in the width L2 of the defrosting receiver 40. 25a). After the upper sections 24a and 25a of the predetermined section are formed, they are bent to extend laterally or downwardly. In addition, the remaining outer surface of the connection pipes 24 and 25 except for the upper extension parts 24a and 25a is provided with a heat insulating material 26 completely surrounding the connection pipe outer surface to prevent generation of frost.

The configuration of the connection pipes 24 and 25 extends upward in the process of performing the defrosting operation of the evaporator 20 by allowing the upper extension parts 24a and 25a to be positioned above the defrost receiver 40 width L2. When the frost formed in the parts 24a and 25a melts and flows down, the defrost water in this part is allowed to fall into the defrosting receiver 40. This is to prevent the problem that the defrost water flows into the storage compartment along the connection pipe during the defrost operation of the conventional refrigerator. In addition, such a configuration is provided along the connection pipes (24, 25) even if defrosting is performed by installing a heat insulating material (26) in the portions other than the upper extension parts (24a, 25a) of the connection pipes (24, 25) to prevent frost. It is to prevent the problem of defrost water flowing down.

As described in detail above, the refrigerator according to the present invention comprises a connecting portion connected to the evaporator of the connecting pipe is composed of an upper extension extending upward a predetermined length within the width of the defrost receiver, the outer surface of the portion except the upper extension Since the insulation is installed, even if the frost generated in the upper extension during the defrosting operation melts and flows down, the defrosting water drops into the defrosting receiver, thereby preventing the problem of defrosting water flowing into the storage compartment along the connection pipe.
