Abstract

PURPOSE: A semi-finished product splicing device of a tire molding machine is provided to reduce working time by quickly bonding both overlapped ends of a semi-finished product wound around a molding drum and provide the maintainability of equipment quality by eliminating the rising and falling of the body of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The splicing device of the tire molding machine uses a band portion(3) and splicing rolls(4) for bonding both overlapped ends of a semi-finished product(2) wound around a molding drum(1). The splicing rolls(4) contacting the inner surface of the band portion(3) are connected to rotating links(7) having hinge shafts(6) connected to a cylinder(5). One lateral end of the band portion(3) is installed by the medium of a position buffering spring(9) retained and supported on a main body(8).
