Abstract

PURPOSE: A ball bearing is provided to allow a ball to be easily inserted into the ball bearing and to reduce abrasion of the ball and the ball bearing by preventing the ball bearing from being thermally deformed. CONSTITUTION: A ball bearing(100) includes an annular ball housing(10) and a ball(20) accommodated in the annular ball housing(10). A cutting section(11) is formed at an inner peripheral surface of the annular ball housing(10) so as to allow the ball(20) to be easily inserted into the annular ball housing(10). A pair of cutting sections(11) are provided at an inner circumferential surface of the annular ball housing(10) in opposition to each other. A depth of the cutting section(11) is about 2mm, and a length of the cutting section(11) is about 2/5 with respect to the length of the circumferential surface of the annular ball housing(10).
