Abstract

PURPOSE: A combination structure of a heat protector for preventing thermal damage of an engine room is provided to interrupt convection heat due to heating of an exhaust manifold from being transferred to an engine room. CONSTITUTION: A heat protector(30) is formed in curved streamline to interrupt exhaust heat of a high temperature of an engine from being transferred to other parts of an engine room, having a bolt hole to be attached to an exhaust manifold(22) installed at a cylinder head(21). A groove(23) is formed on a side wall of the cylinder head to insert a predetermined section(D) of an inner end of the heat protector into the side wall of the cylinder head, thereby removing a gap between the heat protector and the side wall of the cylinder head when the heat protector is mounted on the engine.
