Abstract

PURPOSE: An auxiliary start apparatus is provided to allow the vehicle engine to smoothly start in winter time by pre-heating the residual gas in the mixer. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary start apparatus comprises a mixer(130) for mixing an LPG and air; a hot wire(200) mounted on the mixer; a temperature sensor(210) for sensing the temperature of the mixer; a control unit for judging whether the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor is the vaporizing temperature of the LPG frozen in the mixer; a power unit electrically connected to the hot wire in accordance with the control of the control unit; and a lamp which turns on/off in accordance with the control of the control unit.
