단자가 하우징(1)의 측면에서 삽입되는 기존 방수용 전구 고정 장치는 플러스 전선(9)→ 플러스 단자(3) → 전구 베이스 납땜부(8-1) → 필라멘트(8-3) → 전구 베이스 측면(8-2) → 마이너스 단자(4) → 마이너스 전선(10) 을 통하여 전류가 흐르면서 그 기능을 하게 된다. 링 고무(6)는 램프에 조립 되었을 때 램프와 전구 고정 장치의 하우징 사이에서 방수 기능을 할 뿐만 아니라 고무의 탄성을 이용하여 전구 고정 장치의 유동을 방지하는 역할도 한다. 하우징에는 전구 고정 장치를 램프에 고정하기 위한 턱(1-4)이 구조에 따라 2개에서 4개 정도 있다. 그 턱은 전구 고정 장치를 램프에 회전하여 조립 시킬 때 고정하는 역할을 한다. 그리고 그 턱에는 전구 고정 장치의 역회전을 방지하기 위하여 작은 돌기(1-5)가 나와 있고 전구 고정 장치가 램프에 완전히 회전하여 조립되면 그 돌기는 램프 내에 있는 홈(11-2) 안으로 안착되어 역회전 방지 기능을 하게 된다. 그리고 램프에 전구 고정 장치를 회전시켜 조립 할 때 그 돌기로 인하여 전구 고정 장치는 돌기의 높이 만큼 후퇴하게 되지만 전구 고정 장치가 완전히 회전하여 돌기가 램프내의 홈 위치에 오게 되면 링 고무의 탄성에 의한 반발력으로 전구 고정 장치는 원위치 하며 역회전을 할 수 없게 된다. 상기와 같은 방수용 전구 고정 장치에서 링 고무를 제거하여 비방수용으로 사용하게 되면 링 고무 높이 정도의 보조 리브(11-1)를 램프에 설치하여 전구 고정 장치를 조립하게 되는데 이럴 경우 전구 고정 장치에 탄성이 없기 때문에 전구 고정 장치를 램프내에서 회전 시키는 과정에서 돌기는 일부 문드러지면서 조립되게 된다. 그리고 전구고정 장치에 탄성이 없기 때문에 조립 후에도 램프와 전구 고정 장치 사이의 유격으로 인하여 자동차 주행 중 소음이 발생 하거나 전구 고정 장치가 역회전 하여 램프에서 분리 되는 경우도 종종 발생한다. 또한 전구 고정 장치의 하우징과 플러스 전선(9) 사이에서 방수 기능을 하는 원통 고무(5-1)는 전구 고정 장치를 비방수용으로 할 경우 필요가 없으나 원통 고무를 제거하여 사용 할 경우 단자가 유동에 의하여 전구 고정장치에서 빠지는 경우가 발생하기 때문에 구조적으로 삭제는 불가능 하여 원가 상승의 요인이 된다.The existing waterproof bulb fixing device in which the terminal is inserted in the side of the housing (1) is a positive wire (9) → positive terminal (3) → bulb base soldering portion (8-1) → filament (8-3) → bulb base side ( 8-2) Current flows through the negative terminal (4) and the negative wire (10) to function.
