레노조직(도3)은 일반 평직으로 짜여진 직포에 비해 경사및 위사의 수를 줄이고 대신 경사줄이나 위사의 데니어를 높여 열에 잘 견디게 함으로써 인장및 인열을 획기적으로 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 예를 들면 850데니어 1인치(inch)당 위사8줄 경사 8줄로 직포를 제직시 직포의 1평방미터의 중량은 약59.49그램이나 이를 레노조직을 이용하여 데니어를 1200으로높이고 경사를 6줄 , 위사를 3줄로 줄인다면 47.24그램으로 평직으로 제직 하였을 경우보다도 데니어는 높으면서도 1평방미터당 중량은 약 12.25그램정도 줄어든 것을 볼 수 있다. 그러면서도 위사및 경사의 데이어가 높아짐에 따라 열때문에 물성이 약해지는 것이 일반 평직에 비해 덜하므로 기존 평직으로 제직된 직포위에 알루미늄호일(1,1a)이나, 알루미늄 증착필름(1,1a)을 합지 했을 경우보다 훨씬 물성이개선된 반사시트(도1)를 만들 수 있다.Reno tissue (Fig. 3) is to reduce the number of warp and weft yarn compared to the plain weaving woven fabrics, instead of increasing the denier of the warp rope or weft yarn to withstand the heat well to significantly increase the tensile and tear.
