Abstract

PURPOSE: An oil/water separation method of emulsion by intermolecular force is provided to recover oil from the emulsion wastewater economically and simply by oil/water separating emulsion wastewater generated during washing of cutting oil. CONSTITUTION: The oil/water separation method of emulsion by intermolecular force comprises processes of preparing emulsion wastewater in a droplet shape, and separating oil from water by injecting the emulsion wastewater formed in a droplet shape into oil so that emulsion oil in emulsion wastewater is bonded to oil by intermolecular force of oil itself while water is collected to the lower side by specific gravity, wherein if the emulsion force formed in a droplet shape is injected into oil, emulsion oil in emulsion wastewater droplets is bonded to oil due to attractive force (intermolecular force) of oil while the emulsion wastewater is being descended downward in the oil by specific gravity since attractive force of surrounding numerous oil molecules is applied to one small emulsion oil in the oil so that attractive force far exceeding repulsive force is applied to an oil in which plenty of oil molecules are bonded to each other.

Description

분자력을 이용한 에멀전의 유수분리방법{OIL SEPERATION METHOD OF EMULSION BY INTERMOLECULAR FORCE}OIL SEPERATION METHOD OF EMULSION BY INTERMOLECULAR FORCE}

The present invention is an oil and water separation technology for recovering emulsion oil in an emulsion wastewater generated during washing of cutting oil, and the use of a flocculant or a separation membrane, which is currently used, has many problems in terms of cost and management.

The present invention is economical and simple, and unlike the conventional method, the oil can be recovered and reused.

Between the molecules of oil there is a force of van der Waals, a kind of weak molecular force, Is displayed.

Where a and b are coefficients, Is distance, and 1 is repulsive force and 2 is attractive force. Generally m = 12 and n = 6. As this equation shows, at very short distances, the repulsive force acts with a very large force between molecules.

This is why emulsion oils never aggregate with each other in nature and are difficult to separate from oil.

But when the molecules are far apart, they are weak but attractive.

Therefore, if conditions are established so that the attraction force far exceeds the repulsive force even in a very close state between the molecules can be combined between the molecules.

Where such conditions are established, it is in oil to which a large number of oil molecules are combined. In the oil, the attraction force of much oil molecules around one small emulsion oil acts much more than the repulsive force.

Therefore, when the emulsion waste water is made into droplets and introduced into the oil, the emulsion oil in the emulsion waste water droplets is combined with the oil due to the attraction force of the oil (molecular force) while it is lowered due to the specific gravity inside the oil.

Emulsion oil in waste water is recovered by combining with oil and water is collected down due to specific gravity.
