Claims (5)
- 디지털 방송 서비스에서의 채널 변경 방법에 있어서,티씨피/아이피 계층에서 동작하는 채널변경 프로토콜을 구비하는 셋탑박스에서 입력되는 채널 변경 요구 메시지를 상기 채널변경 프로토콜을 통해 채널 변경 서버로 전송하는 과정과,상기 채널 변경 메시지를 수신한 채널변경 서버가 상기 채널 변경 요구 메시지에 따른 새로운 채널 정보를 포함하는 채널 변경 확인 메시지를 전송하는 과정과,채널 변경 서버가 상기 새로운 채널의 데이터를 상기 셋탑박스로 전송하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 채널 변경 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 셋탑박스와 채널 변경 서버간의 최초 연결 시에는, 상기 채널 변경 요구 메시지를 전송하는 과정에 선행하여 상기 셋탑박스와 상기 채널 변경 서버간의 세션 설정 과정을 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 채널 변경 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 최초 연결은 셋탑박스의 전원이 켜질 시에 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 채널 변경 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 세션 설정 과정은,셋탑박스가 소켓을 생성하고 연결을 시도하는 과정과,연결이 완료 후 세션 설정 요구 메시지를 채널 변경 서버로 전송하는 과정과,상기 메시지를 수신한 채널 변경 서버가 세션을 설정하고, 세션 설정 확인 메시지를 상기 셋탑박스로 전송하는 과정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 디지털 방송 서비스에서의 채널 변경 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 세션 설정 시, 채널 변경 요구 메시지에 따른 채널 데이터 수신이 이루어지기 전, 셋탑박스는 이전 접속 시 채널 변경 서버로부터 최후에 전송 받았던 채널정보를 채널 변경 정보로 전송하고 상기 채널을 통해 방송 데이터를 수신함을 특징으로 하는 디지털 방송 서비스에서의 채널 변경 방법.
