The manufacturing method of auto-body parts hydroforming process}The manufacturing method of auto-body parts hydroforming process

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a vehicle component by hydroforming, and more particularly, to a method for processing by hydroforming when manufacturing a front side member that is a vehicle component.

In general, the vehicle front side members are disposed on both sides of the front of the vehicle to absorb impact energy by reducing the deformation of the vehicle body at the low speed during the collision and collision of the vehicle or by buckling the side member during the collision and collision at high speed. Therefore, it is a member that minimizes damage to the vehicle body and human damage.

FIG. 5 is a view illustrating a structure in which a front side member is manufactured by a conventional manufacturing method, and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the B-B section of FIG. 5 and 6, the conventional front side member 101 is disposed so that the lower member 103 and the upper member 105 overlap each other, and the lower member 103 and the upper member 105 are formed. It is manufactured by spot welding a portion where the lower member 103 and the upper member 105 are in contact with each other through a separate reinforcing material 107 in the inner space.

As described above, when manufacturing a vehicle part such as a front side member by forming a plurality of panels by a press, a lot of scrap occurs, and raw materials are wasted and manufacturing costs are increased.

In addition, as in the example of the conventional front side member, there is necessarily an edge portion which is in surface contact with each other in order to join the upper and lower members. Such an edge causes an increase in the weight of the vehicle when assembled to the vehicle, thereby reducing the weight of the vehicle. It has a bad problem from the point of view.

In addition, when manufacturing the parts of the vehicle, such as the conventional front side member has a problem that the manufacturing process is complicated and the labor cost is increased to increase the production cost.

Accordingly, the present invention has been proposed to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to manufacture a vehicle part such as a front side member through a relatively simple process to reduce production costs and to prevent unnecessary scraps from occurring. It is to provide a method for manufacturing a vehicle part by hydro-molding to maximize the utilization to reduce the manufacturing cost.

It is still another object of the present invention to prevent the occurrence of unnecessary edges when manufacturing a vehicle part such as a front side member, so that when the component is mounted on the vehicle, the parts of the vehicle are formed by hydroforming due to the weight reduction of the vehicle. It is to provide a manufacturing method.

FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the B-B portion of FIG. 5 taken away.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

1 shows a tube made by roll forming for explaining an embodiment according to the invention. The roll former is to produce a high-tensile steel sheet as a cylindrical tube (1), wherein the steel sheet is connected by high frequency welding to form a cylindrical tube (1) so that it can be completely sealed except at both ends. The cylindrical tube 1 seals both ends after filling a fluid made of oil or the like therein. Then, the tube in this state is inserted into the hydroforming mold having the shape of the front side member and increases the fluid pressure therein through the sealing portion of the tube 1.

Subsequently, the upper and lower molds provided in the hydroforming mold are brought into close contact with each other so that the tube 1 is immersed in the mold. Subsequently, when the fluid pressure inside the tube 1 is increased, the tube 3 is molded into a mold shape. The shape of such shaped tube 3 is shown in FIG. 2. In addition, by removing the internal pressure and the sealing of the molded tube 3, and cutting the necessary length portion, such as cutting both ends, the member can be applied to the vehicle as shown in FIG. 3 illustrates an example of manufacturing a front side member 5 for a vehicle as an example of the present invention. The present invention is not limited thereto, and any member having a form provided with a space may be manufactured in the same manner. have. And Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view showing the cut portion A-A of Figure 3, it can be seen that the thickness of the cross section is a method of manufacturing a vehicle component by hydroforming according to the present invention appears in a relatively constant shape. This makes it possible to prevent certain parts from being thinly molded, so that a good quality product with excellent strength and durability can be obtained.

As such, the present invention provides a method of filling hydraulic pressure inside a single tube to reduce scrap of raw materials and to reduce manufacturing cost by reducing the number of parts, and to reduce labor due to a simple manufacturing process. The production cost can be reduced.

In particular, the present invention has an effect that may be due to the weight of the vehicle when the tube forming the front side member of the vehicle is integrally manufactured so that a separate coupling frame is unnecessary and is mounted on the vehicle.
