Abstract

PURPOSE: A server for offering a multimedia broadcasting MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) is provided to have a broadcasting function. the broadcasting function provides the broadcasting function to the MMS in order to expand an MMS range and to create various multimedia data. CONSTITUTION: An MMS broadcasting server registers the targets to be transmitted, and inputs basic information on each target. The server creates broadcasting information. When the sever selects the targets to be transmitted, it uses address book information and generates data. The server classifies the generated data according to MMS relay/service and groups the same messages. The grouped data are transmitted to the number for maximum users. The server manages the transmitted results.

(1) prior art configuration

In MMS, it is possible to write several people in the information field that can receive multimedia messages. However, it is not appropriate to set up many people at the same time using MMS terminal. Step 3: Transfer of Broadcast Data

Data generated through the second stage is classified by MMS relay / server which can be serviced. The classification of MMS relay / server is handled based on the query result of DNS (Domain Name Server). When querying, the MMS relay / server is used as MX (Mail Exchanger). The grouped data is divided into the maximum number of recipients that can be sent to the MMS relay / server at one time.

The sender can check the transmission result by applying various methods. You can check various results such as whether a notification message has been received and whether a multimedia message has been received.

Broadcasting server has the following features.

① Address Book Management

It has the function to define and manage the target that can receive the multimedia information.

② Group Management

It has the function of defining and managing groups based on the information registered in the address book.

③ Target Information Management

Additional items of each target are used to transmit by condition, and the received message preference of each target can be checked by receiving the transmitted message, etc., and can be used as a reference when transmitting a new message. Others have the function of creating and managing information that helps to select the target to send differentiation information such as weight of each target.

④ Create message to deliver (define target and condition)

Defines what to deliver and deliver to a function that generates a message for broadcasting.

The advantage of point-to-point is that you can check whether the receiving user is connected or not, and manage them individually. But it is inconvenient to deliver to many people. In order to solve this inconvenience, a server having a broadcasting function is provided to give a broadcasting function to the MMS.

The present invention seeks to expand the scope of use of MMS. In addition, the MMS terminal can be viewed as a personal broadcasting station to generate various multimedia data. It also supports broadcasting in MMS so that information can be delivered to many targets at the same time.
