Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an optical pickup of an optical recording/playing apparatus is provided to reduce the number of assembling processes and the manufacturing cost by manufacturing several parts in one manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A substrate fixing stand(10), a yoke(7), and a lens holder(3) are formed on a top side of a pickup base(1) through injection molding. The lens holder is placed at an upper part of a light entrance hole and is connected with the pickup base by connecting parts formed at both ends of the lens holder. The connecting parts are processed to separate the lens holder from the pickup base. Optical components are assembled at a bottom of the pickup base and a magnet is bonded to an inner surface of the yoke. The lens holder is combined with an insertion hole(21) of a bobbin wound with a tracking coil and a focus coil(6). The bobbin is secured at the upper part of the light entrance hole of the pickup base. A plurality of suspension wires are connected with wire connecting parts of the bobbin and then connected with a printed circuit board fixed at the substrate fixing stand. An objective lens(4) is secured at a lens securing part of the lens holder.
