Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for searching a menu in a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow a user to quickly move to a desired menu with a few times of depression of keys. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a user inputs a menu key(110). If a menu key is inputted, a menu image including an item of 'menu search' is displayed(120). It is checked whether the 'menu search' is selected from displayed items(130). If 'menu search' is selected, a search window is displayed(140). It is checked whether a certain search word is inputted(150). It is checked whether a confirm key is inputted(160). If the confirm key is inputted, a menu memory is accessed to search a menu including the search word(170). Menus related to the search word is indexed and displayed(180). It is checked whether one of the displayed menu is selected(190). If one menu is selected, it is checked whether a confirm key is inputted to execute the selected menu(200). If the user is judged to desire execution of the menu, the menu is executed(260).
