Abstract

PURPOSE: An air exhaust device is provided to reduce parts count and costs by performing test through the use of a single test bench regardless of the type of automobile. CONSTITUTION: An air exhaust device(30) extended from an engine(20), comprises an air exhaust pipe(32) connected to an end of an air exhaust manifold(31) and extended to the lower portion of the automobile body; a catalyst unit(33) for purifying the air exhausted from the air exhaust manifold; and an extendable/retractable unit(34) which is mounted to a test bench(10). The extendable/retractable unit is made of a stainless steel, and has a shape of bellows. A gasket(35) made of a copper material is mounted on the extendable/retractable unit so as to prevent overheat of the extendable/retractable unit.

본 발명은 자동차의 테스트 벤치 장착용 배기 장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱상세하게는 기존의 엔진 어셈블리는 배기 장치가 각각의 부품 즉, 배기 매니폴드, 외부로 배출되는 배기 파이프, 촉매기 등에 의해 굴곡된 형상으로 용접에 의해 결합되는데, 상기 배기 장치가 테스트 벤치에 장착될 시, 상기 배기 장치가 차종에 따라 크기 및 형상이 달라 테스트 마다 별도의 테스트 벤치를 구비해야 하는 문제점이 있어 이를 해결하기 위해 상기 배기 장치에 스테인레스강 재질이며, 벨로즈 형상의 신축 수단을 장착하여 정형화된 테스트 벤치에 다각도로 장착함으로써, 차종별로 서로 다른 구조의 배기 장치라도 용이하게 고정하여 테스트할 수 있는 한편, 촉매기 하단에 동으로 된 가스켓을 사용함으로써, 상기 스테인레스강이 벌겋게 달아오르는 현상을 방지할 수 있는 자동차의 테스트 벤치 장착용 배기 장치에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to an exhaust device for mounting a test bench of an automobile, and more particularly, an existing engine assembly has a shape in which the exhaust device is bent by each component, that is, an exhaust manifold, an exhaust pipe discharged to the outside, and a catalyst.
