Abstract

PURPOSE: An air filter device for a charcoal canister is provided to satisfy an environmental standard by collecting hydrocarbon discharged into the outside through the air filter. CONSTITUTION: In an air filter connected to a charcoal canister(6) to filter impurities in the air introduced into the charcoal canister, an air cleaning nonwoven fabric(9,9a) is installed at an air passage to filter impurities in the air. A multilayered activated carbon(11) is installed at the inside of the air cleaning nonwoven fabric.
