Abstract

PURPOSE: An electromagnetic wave shielding cable is provided to protect human body or animals and plants from electromagnetic wave by preventing the electromagnetic wave generated from the cable from being radiated to outside. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding cable comprises a cable(1) made of an electrical conductive material and a covering(2) formed along the outer surface of the cable. The covering includes a first silicon layer(21), an electromagnetic wave shielding layer(22) and a second silicon layer(23) formed in sequence. The electromagnetic wave shielding layer is made of an aluminum. When a current flows along the cable, an electromagnetic wave is generated from the cable. Thus-generated electromagnetic wave permeates through the first silicon layer and is absorbed in the electromagnetic wave shielding layer. The second silicon layer serves as a protective layer for the electromagnetic wave shielding layer.
