현대 미용산업의 발달 중 손톱에 대한 관심이 계속 고조되고 있으며, 조심스럽게 손질되고 밝게 채색된 긴 길이의 손톱은 현대 여성의 여성스러움 및 아름다움을 배가시키는 필수 미용 요소로 인식되고 있다. 그러므로 대중화 되고 고급화되는 과정에서 인조손톱의 착용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 디자인과 색상이 고정화되어 있어 소비자가 쉽게 싫증을 느끼게 되었으며, 이를 개선하기 위하여 인조손톱을 다음과 같은 방법으로 디자인하여 사용하고 있다.Interest in nails continues to grow during the development of the modern beauty industry.
