Abstract

PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) type aggregate dryer having a rotating drum is provided to maximize the fuel use efficiency of a rotating drum aggregate dryer by applying the EGR technique and to reduce the fuel consumption by using the waste heat of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: Aggregate(8) put into a rotating drum(1) is dried by contacting to the hot combustion gas(11) supplied from a burner(2). To recover the waste heat of the exhaust gas(12) discharged from an aggregate dryer, the exhaust gas is recirculated by a recirculation flow rate control valve(4) and a recirculation fan(3). The recirculated exhaust gas is mixed with the external air(10). The mixed air is supplied to the burner.

본 발명은 배기를 재순환시켜 사용에너지를 절약하는 배기 재순환형 회전드럼 골재 건조기에 대한 것이다. 본 발명의 기술은 골재 건조기의 연료소비를 줄이기 위하여 배기의 일부를 재순환시켜 배기의 폐열을 회수하는 방법과 이를 골재 건조기에 적용하는 것이다. 본 발명의 목적은 배기의 폐열을 회수하여 이용함으로써 건조에 필요한 연소가스를 발생시키는데 소비되는 연료를 절약하는 것이다.The present invention relates to an exhaust recycle type rotary drum aggregate dryer that recycles exhaust to save energy. 회전드럼 골재 건조기에서 투입된 골재는 회전드럼 속에서 회전하는 동안 버너에서 공급된 뜨거운 연소가스에 의하여 건조된다. 지금까지 개발된 기존의 회전드럼 골재 건조기의 경우 버너에서 공급된 연소가스는 회전드럼을 1회 통과하면서 골재와 열교환을 한 후 대기 중으로 배출하게 되어 있다. 따라서 기존의 골재 건조기는 배기에 포함된 상당량의 이용 가능한 에너지를 폐열의 형태로 대기 중에 배출하는 구조로 되어 있다. 그러므로 본 발명에서는 배기의 폐열을 회수하여 이용함으로써 회전드럼 골재 건조기의 소비에너지를 크게 줄일 수 있다. 즉 적당량의 배기를 재순환시켜 외기와 혼합하여 버너로 투입함으로써 적은 연료의 연소로도 건조에 필요한 온도와 유량의 연소가스를 얻을 수 있다. 재순환되는 배기의 유량은 재순환팬과 재순환 유량조절 밸브에 의하여 조절된다. 본 발명으로 골재 건조기에서 건조에 필요한 연소가스의 온도와 유량이 유지되는 조건하에서 적정량의 배기를 버너 쪽으로 재순환시켜서 연료소비를 크게 줄일 수 있다.Aggregate introduced from the rotary drum aggregate dryer is dried by hot combustion gas supplied from the burner while rotating in the rotary drum. 즉 도1에서 회전드럼(1) 속으로 투입된 골재(8)는 회전드럼(1) 속에서 회전하는 동안 버너(2)에서 공급된 뜨거운 연소가스(11)와 접촉하여 건조되게 되어있다. 지금까지 개발된 골재 건조기의 경우 버너(2)에서 공급된 연소가스(11)는 회전드럼(1) 속을 1회 통과하면서 투입된 골재(8)를 건조한 후 대기 중으로 배출되게 되어 있다. 따라서 기존의 골재 건조기에서 배출되는 배기(12)는 비교적 고온상태로 상당량의 이용 가능한 에너지를 포함하고 있다. 본 발명은 배기의 폐열을 회수하기 위하여 재순환 유량 조절 밸브(4)와 재순환 팬(3)으로 적정량의 배기(12)를 재순환시켜 외기(10)와 혼합하고, 이 혼합기를 버너(2)에 공급함으로써 사용연료를절약하고자 한다. 다시 말하면 외기(10)는 재순환되는 배기와 혼합됨에 따라 그 온도가 상승하게 되며, 동일한 양의 연료를 연소시키는 기존 골재 건조기에 비하여 연소가스의 온도는 상승하게 된다. 그러므로 기존의 골재 건조기에 비하여 적은 양의 연료를 연소시켜 동일한 연소가스의 온도를 얻을 수 있게 된다. 본 발명은 배기의 에너지를 회수함으로써 보다 적은 연료의 연소로 건조에 필요한 연소가스를 발생시키는데 소비되는 연료를 절약하는 것이다.That is, the aggregate 8 introduced into the rotating drum 1 in FIG. 1 is made to dry in contact with the hot combustion gas 11 supplied from the burner 2 while rotating in the rotating drum 1.
