Abstract

PURPOSE: A structure for guiding opening/closing of a glove box is provided to reduce noise and to expand life span of the glove box by allowing a string of an air damper to make contact with a crash pad main panel when opening/closing the glove box. CONSTITUTION: A crash pad main panel(1) is formed at a lower portion of a crash pad. A lower end of a glove box housing(2) is hinged to a lower end of the crash pad main panel(1) by means of a hinge(3). An air damper(5) is installed in a body(4). A string(9) connected to a piston(7) accommodated in a cylinder(6) is fixed to an inner wall of the glove box housing(2) through a hole(10) formed at the crash pad main panel(1). A guide roller is installed at an upper portion of a hole formed at the crash pad main panel(1). The guide roller is integrally provided with brackets.
