Abstract

PURPOSE: A device for shielding electromagnetic wave noise for a monitor is provided to effectively shield the noise due to the electromagnetic waves emitted from a video circuit board and a CDT(Color Display Tube), thereby preventing the bad influence of the electromagnetic interference on environmental parts and a user. CONSTITUTION: A device for shielding electromagnetic wave noise for a monitor includes a cover part(30) in the shape of funnel for surrounding a neck part(12) of a CDT(10), a cylindrical fixing part(32) formed at a side of the cover part for surrounding a neck holder(14), and a plurality of coupling pieces(34) formed at a front end of the cover part to be ground-fixed to a video circuit board(20), wherein a clip cover part(36) is further provided to a side of the fixing part for covering a fixing clip(141) of the neck holder.
