PURPOSE: A system for recognizing a business card is provided to decrease a time for scanning the business card by scanning many business cards simultaneously and making the business card be recognized and stored in a computer and to make a business card DB stored in a computer be searched and used in an exterior easily using a PDA or the IMT-2000. CONSTITUTION: A scanner(10) scans many business cards on a business card panel simultaneously and transmits a scanned image by wire/wireless. A computer(20) recognizes the image transmitted in the scanner(10), stores the image as a file, and stores the stored files in a business card DB. The computer(20) communicates with a PDA(30) or the IMT-2000. The PDA(30) or the IMT-2000 is connected to the computer(20) by wireless and searches the stored business card DB.
