Abstract

PURPOSE: An automatic safety belt opening/locking apparatus is provided to automatically open/lock a safety belt of a vehicle by moving a belt along a rail using a sensor for detecting a passenger sat in a seat and a motor. CONSTITUTION: A sensor is accommodated in a vehicle door. When a passenger or a driver is sat in a seat, the sensor connected to an automatic switch of the vehicle detects the passenger so that a door side stator of a safety belt is moved passing through a rail so as to lock the safety belt. When the passenger or the driver opens the vehicle door, the stator of the safety belt is moved backward in order to open the safety belt. In order to move the stator along the rail, a motor is connected to the stator through a wire.
