Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for intercepting telephone use using a calling number is provided to previous prevent a telephone use connection or interception due to a calling category error by using a telephone charge delinquent's calling number. If a calling number with a transit call request signal is received from a remote terminal(S11), the system judges whether an identical number to the calling number is stored in the database(S12). In case that the identical number exists in the database, the system interrupts the connection-requested call and outputs an announcement to inform the remote terminal that telephone use is prohibited(S13). But, if the identical number does not exist in the database, the system judges the subscriber of the remote terminal normal and connects the call normally(S14).
