Abstract

PURPOSE:To selectively perform execution and refusal of busy tone incoming service in accordance with the originating subscribers and areas designated by a contracted subscriber by providing a controlling means which discriminates the propriety of the interruption by a third person in accordance with the busy tone incoming service when the telephone number of the third person is obtained. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call is made from a third person while a contracted subscriber talks with a partner, a busy tone incoming controlling unit (CWU) 1 receives the telephone number (ID) of the new originating subscriber by means of a common line signal from a signal processing unit (SPU) 2 and instructs a selecting unit (ISU) 3 to check whether or not busy tone connection is permitted to the ID. The ISU 3 retrieves a relevant ID storing memory of the contracted subscriber in an ID storing memory unit (IMU) 5 and feeds back retrieved results to the CWU 1. The CWU 1 executed necessary control designated by the fed-back service class (registered ID permitting service, priority giving service, distance-wise permitting service, etc.) of the contracted subscriber. Therefore, the incoming service can be performed selectively in accordance with originating subscribers and areas.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a busy call connection system, particularly to a busy call connection system in a communication network in which a common line signaling system is adopted between a calling subscriber and a called subscriber. Regarding the connection method.

Traditionally, with this type of call-waiting connection system, if a subscriber to a busy-call service receives a call from a third party while the subscriber is on the phone, the third party receives a ringtone and the subscriber receives the call. When a contract subscriber who hears the incoming call display sound interrupts and hooks, a third party and the contract subscriber are connected and can talk while the other party is on hold, and the contract subscriber can call again. When you hook, you will be returned to the connection with the person on hold,
This allows you to continue your previous call.

The conventional busy call connection method described above allows busy call connections from unspecified callers, so if the other party is connecting from a long distance, the other party may interrupt the call by interrupting the call. This method has the problem of incurring a fee loss, and furthermore, interrupting an important call during an important call may cause a call to be interrupted.

There are two ways to register an ID to allow a subscriber to receive busy calls: registration at a telephone office reception counter and automatic registration by the subscriber using the telephone. The former is the same as when applying for a telephone subscription. This is done through the maintainer. In the latter case, the dialing format shown in FIG. 2 is used when a subscriber registers an ID. To register the first priority ID, dial the special number (
After IXY), dial one registration request number (0 dial), then dial one priority number (1, 2, ... dial, 1 is the highest priority,
In addition, if the maximum number of registrations requires two digits, enter the area code (two digits) depending on the last ID to be registered or the destination area.
(hereinafter referred to as MA) only. Figure 2 shows an example in which MA registration or ID registration is identified by the number of dial digits.
It is also possible to specify either MA or MA. Furthermore, if the registered ID does not allow incoming calls while busy, priority dialing is not necessary. Thereafter, by repeating the above-mentioned dial registration for the number of IDs to be registered in the same manner, registration of IDs (or MAs) that allow busy calls is completed.

IDi of the other party during the call
If the priority is low, the conventional busy call control is requested. In addition, in the prioritization service, two types of conventional incoming call display tones are installed, one for high priority and one for low priority, and different incoming call display sounds are sent out depending on the priority of the call interrupter and the ID of the other party who is talking. It can also be configured to do so.

In addition, in the case of a contract subscriber to a distance-based service, the relationship between the contract subscriber and the other party on the call, and the relationship between the contract subscriber and the incoming call interruption consideration, or the ranking of the mutual distance or unit hourly call charge is MA.
