Abstract

PURPOSE: A cooling apparatus is provided to reduce noise caused due to the blade of cooling apparatus, by preventing the blade from being rotated at a temperature lower than a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION: A magnet clutch plate(2) having a blade(2a) is arranged at a rotating shaft(1a) of an AC generator, in such a manner that the magnetic clutch plate is interlocked to the rotating shaft so as to perform a cooling action by the blade when the temperature of the AC generator is raised to a high level requiring cooling operation. The AC generator has a housing(1) where a temperature sensor(3) is installed, and a controller(4) is connected to the temperature sensor. A relay switch(5) interposed between the magnetic clutch plate and the battery is connected to the controller. Thus, the controller turns on the relay switch when the temperature of the AC generator sensed by the temperature sensor is higher than the temperature level set in the controller, to thereby supply power to the magnetic clutch plate.
